Practice Information

Location

Practices are held at the Aloha High School Mat Room: 18550 SW Kinnaman Road, Aloha, OR 97007.

Day and Time

Please always check the practice calendar for the week's schedule.

These times are for the regular season after Thanksgiving.

The times below are what we try to achieve, but there are limiting circumstances which require us to change the practice dates/times on some weeks.

Regular Season

• Junior Practice will practice Tues/Thurs at 6:30-8:00 PM
  • Grades K-4th
• Advanced Practice will practice Mon/Wed at 6:30-8:30 PM
  • Grades 5th-8th or if a wrestler is invited by a coach.

• We will not practice on holidays.
• We will hold optional/recommended practices over Thanksgiving and winter break.

Wrestling Attire and Equipment

• Shorts with no zippers or buttons
• T-Shirts
• No jewelry
• Wrestling Shoes
  • Shoes are not required but are highly recommended. Wrestlers without shoes must  wrestle in their socks.
  • If you need loaner shoes, please check with the coaches on the day of practice before practice starts. We have a limited supply of loaner shoes and sizes.
  • Shoe Donation: If you have wrestling shoes you no longer need, please consider donating these to the club. You may bring these to practice and give them to the wrestling staff.
• Water Bottle
  • Recommended but not required. Water fountains are available outside the wrestling room.

Metro League Tournament Schedule

The tournaments are on the calendar. Tournaments are generally held on Sunday and run all day. We also have some tournaments on Saturdays.

The Sunday Metro League tournaments will be the same. We will communicate any changes over WIQ and on the calendar for the event if different.
