Practice and Tournament Calendar

If you use Google Calendar, you can add this calendar to your Google Calendar, which will show the wrestling events along side your other calendar events.

Practice Information

Location

Practices are held at the Aloha High School Mat Room: 18550 SW Kinnaman Road, Aloha, OR 97007.

Times

Please always check the practice calendar for the week's schedule. We will make sure the schedule is correct at the start of the week. The times below are what we try to achieve, but there are limiting circumstances which require us to change the practice dates/times on some weeks.

• Grades K-4th will practice 6:00-7:30 PM
• Grades 5th-8th will practice 6:00-8:00 PM
• Advanced Practice
  • Time: 6:00-7:30 PM
  • Advanced practice is for grades 5th-8th or if a wrestler is sponsored by a coach.

Days

See the calendar for all specific dates. The general days are as follows for after Thanksgiving:

• Tuesday and Thursday - All grades K-8th
• Wednesday - Advanced practice
  • Advanced practice is for grades 5th-8th or if a wrestler is sponsored by a coach.

• Practice will not* be held on days when BSD does not have school.
  • *Note that sometimes we may have a practice on these days if we have the appropriate staff available. See the calendar to verify if practice is scheduled.
• We will not practice on holidays.
• We may hold some optional practices over the winter break.

Wrestling Attire and Equipment

• Shorts with no zippers or buttons
• T-Shirts
• Wrestling Shoes
  • Shoes are not required but are highly recommended. Wrestlers without shoes must  wrestle in their socks.
  • If you need loaner shoes, please check with Coach Chon and Mondayon the day of practice before practice starts. We have a limited supply of loaner shoes and sizes.
  • Shoe Donation: If you have wrestling shoes you no longer need, please consider donating these to the club. You may bring these to practice and give them to the wrestling staff.
• Water Bottle
  • Recommended but not required. Water fountains are available outside the wrestling room. Bringing a water bottle will help speed up water breaks.
